The monthly price to be paid for a resource-based license can be limited by the user. This maximum amount cannot be lower than the minimum amount.

Resource measurement

The consumption of the resources is measurement by measuring one data entity: the test step. The test step is the building block for the automated test case and all execution reports. The creation, access and storage of the test step is measured. Please download and use the following excel spreadsheet to simulate the resources consumption of your test project.

Currency

The above prices are in Euro for the customers inside the European Economic Area and Switzerland. In all other countries, the US$ is used.

Account

To use Jamo Automator, you have to create an account. All users, their access rights, the automated test cases and the executon reports are saved in the account. One company or person can have multiple accounts.

A license is defined inside an account. The account can have just one or many app-based licenses or just one resource-based licenses. There cannot be a mix of resource-based and app-based licenses inside an account.

If an account has multiple app-based licenses, then the overall resource limit is the number of app-based licenses multiplied by 100. The count of used resources (points) is cross apps. The overall resulting points value is checked against the overall resource limit.

Users

Users, their credentials and their roles are defined inside an account. A user cannot be defined across accounts. A users has always read access. Only users with the 'editor' role can create test cases and execute test cases. The users with the 'admin role' are allowed to perform the admin tasks. Each account has one tool user and one billable user. The tool user is the central contact person for Jamo Solutions regarding technical information about the tool. The billable user is the only user that can manage the credit card details.

FAQ

  • Can I migrate to another license type?
    You can always upgrade your license. A monthly app-based license can be upgraded to a yearly license. A basic license can be upgraded to an enterprise license. App-based licenses can be upgraded to a Resource-based licenses. Other license migrations are not allowed.

  • Can cancel licenses?
    An admin user can cancel licenses. These licenses will not be renewed. Associated data will be lost.

  • I have an app-based license, can I have a higher resource limit?
    Yes, buy an additional basic app-based license. The purchase of this license will add 100 points to your resource limit. If you first license was an enterprise license, the access to support remains for the app associated to this license.

  • Can I copy information between accounts?
    There is no possibility to copy any information between accounts due to security reasons.

  • I am a service provider. I have several customers but test data cannot be shared between the customers. Which license do I need?
    Inside an account, all information is readable ( except for the admin information) for all users. If you have multiple customers and you give access to your Jamo Automator account, then you will have to create an account for each customer in order to keep information private for each of them.

  • We want to buy yearly app-based licenses without using a credit card, how can we do this?
