Software Engineers

Jamo Solutions is looking for a software developer for joining the mobile development team. The ideal candidate would possess strong programming skills, an ability to solve novel problems and learn new technologies and some experience developing or porting mobile applications. Responsibilities 

- Develop mobile applications from prototype to final product 

- Create solutions for problematic mobile devices and new mobile technologies

- Collaborate with other talented engineers to bring novel ideas to reality.

Requirements

- Strong programming skills:

       Able to write tight, optimized code

       C++ and/or .Net and/or Java

       Able to quickly learn new programming languages and APIs 

- 2+ years OO-programming experience

- Enjoys solving challenging programming problems 

- Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills

- Outstanding analytical and deductive reasoning skills 

- Solid understanding of low-level programming and optimization 

- Passion for Testing and mobile devices

- Flexible, able to work on more than one thing at once and to change focus when needed

- Able to multi-task between multiple simultaneous projects

- Comfortable working independently 

- Service-oriented attitude with an eye for efficiency and workflow

Pluses 

- Relevant work experience in the mobile space

- Understanding of wireless technologies such as Flash Lite, Windows Mobile, Symbian, WAP, WML, SMS, MMS

- Mobile networking experience (socket and HTTP) 

- Swing, AWT, MFC or other Windows GUI experience

- Experience porting mobile applications 

- Able to speak a foreign language
